What a result!

As many of you were aware, throughout December we were very busy fundraising for our partner charity Albion in the Community.

During the festive period we asked our generous customers for a discretionary £2 donation on every food bill, raised funds at our Christmas Carols Evening and donated the proceeds from general admission tickets to our New Year’s Eve party.

We are now delighted to announce that we raised an extraordinary £4000 in total.

This is a fantastic new year’s boost for the charity who deliver high-quality, accessible opportunities to improve the health and wellbeing of the local community. The charity runs more than 30 sessions for people with disabilities and provides free weekly football and mentoring sessions for young people living in areas of deprivation. Each session costs between £2500 and £5000 a year to run so fundraising initiatives such as these really help them to make all the amazing work they do possible.

The pub and the charity started their long-term partnership in December 2018 and since then we have hosted various fundraising events. These included us partaking in the charity’s ‘Blue and White day’ in March where we raised funds through baking cakes and holding a raffle supported by local businesses. The pub also hosted a ‘Meet the Legends Night’ in October where they held a ticketed question and answer session with Guy Butters and Danny Cullip which was thoroughly enjoyed by Albion fans and admirers of the veteran players.

On behalf of everyone here at The Bull and the team at Albion in the Community we would like to thank each and every one of you who have helped us raise money for the charity this year. We are extremely proud of what we have achieved and this would not be possible without your incredible kindness and generosity.

ORDERS AND PAYMENT

When you give The Bull your credit or debit card details you are confirming that you are either the card holder, or that you have permission from the card holder to use the card to order from us. All payments made to The Bull on our website are managed securely by Stripe. You can pay by Visa, MasterCard, and American Express. We reserve the right to reject or cancel any order. If this happens we will contact you to explain why and refund any money you have paid us for that order.

REFUNDS AND RETURNS

Gift vouchers cannot be returned of refunded.

Terms of use

Our gift vouchers may be used towards purchases of food, drink and accommodation at The Bull. All gift vouchers are valid for a period of 12 months from the date of purchase. Gift vouchers must be used by the expiry date stated. Vouchers must be redeemed against one purchase and change cannot be given.

DELIVERY

Vouchers can be bought and collected from The Bull free of charge

Vouchers are mailed 1st class in a branded gift box for a charge of £4.95. Vouchers cannot sent by email.   If your order goes missing, or is damaged, between dispatch and delivery, we will send you a replacement order as soon as we can. Delivery takes place when products are left at your delivery address or with someone else in accordance with your instructions. We cannot supply VAT receipts for gift voucher purchases. Receipts can be issued on the redemption of the voucher.

PRIVACY

We take your privacy very seriously and will only pass your details on to 3rd parties when necessary to fulfill your order e.g. couriers. We'll never ever sell your data. We may from time to time email you about any offers or promotions that we are running.

PRODUCTS AND PROMOTIONS

Any promotions, discounts or vouchers are single use only and not to be used in conjunction with any other promotion, discount or voucher unless otherwise stated. We reserve the right to change or withdraw products offered by us and that are displayed on our website without notice.
